Lay-Z-Spa is Bestway's hot tub brand and the name most people in the UK think of first. The range is wide and the model names change often, which makes it hard to see what actually separates one tub from another. Underneath the names, the differences come down to a handful of things: seats and water litres, round or square shape, AirJet bubbles only or HydroJet water jets too, and the wall material, from a standard liner up to Tritech and the insulated EnergySense walls on Bestway's newer SmartSpa tubs. This guide lines up the Lay-Z-Spa and Bestway models available on Amazon UK on those points, using each listing's own figures. Filters and spare parts are shared across much of the range, which is one reason the brand is popular.

## Products

### 1. Bestway 60001_21 Lay-Z-Spa, Multicolor, 66.0 cm*180.0 cm*180.0 cm

Seats: 4; Outer size: 180 x 66 cm; Water capacity: 669 L; Jets: 120 AirJet; Heater: 220 to 240 V, rating not stated

A compact Lay-Z-Spa with four seats, 669 litres and 120 AirJets, plus heater, filter and inflatable cover in the box. The safest small tub from a known brand.

In its favour:
- 669 litres is a small volume to heat, so first heat-up uses less energy than bigger tubs.
- Heater, filter, ChemConnect dispenser and inflatable cover are all listed as included.
- At 27.5 kg it is light enough for two people to carry and store.

Good to know:
- The listing names a standard liner, not Bestway's tougher Tritech wall.
- No app control or freeze protection is mentioned.

### 2. Lay-Z-Spa® 77" x 28"/1.96m x 71cm Milan Airjet Plus

Seats: 6; Water capacity: 916 L; Jets: 140 AirJet Plus; Shape: Round, 196 x 71 cm; App control: Not stated

A round six seat Lay-Z-Spa with 140 AirJet Plus jets, a Tritech liner and an inflatable cover. A sensible all round pick for families who want a known brand with parts easy to find.

In its favour:
- The listing gives 916 litres and six seats, enough room for a family without the bulk of the biggest tubs.
- Comes with a heater, filter, ChemConnect dispenser and inflatable cover, so the basics are in the box.
- Tritech liner material is named in the listing, Bestway's tougher layered wall rather than plain PVC.

Good to know:
- The listing does not mention app or WiFi control, so heating has to be set at the tub.
- Air bubble jets only; there are no water jets for a firmer massage feel.

### 3. Lay-Z-Spa® 71" x 71" x 28"/1.80m x 1.80m x 71cm Hawaii HydroJet Pro

Seats: 6; Water capacity: 795 L; Jets: 148 HydroJet and AirJet; Shape: Square, 180 x 180 x 71 cm; App control: Not stated

A square six seat Lay-Z-Spa that pairs HydroJet water jets with an AirJet bubble ring. Suits a patio corner and anyone who wants more than bubbles alone.

In its favour:
- Has both a HydroJet system and an AirJet system according to the listing, so you get water jets and bubbles.
- The square 180 cm footprint sits neatly against a fence or in a patio corner.
- At 795 litres it holds less water than most six seaters, which means fewer litres to heat each time.

Good to know:
- The listing does not state app control, so timers and heating are set on the pump.
- At 54.3 kg it is one of the heavier tubs here to carry and position.

### 4. Bestway - Santorini Smart HydroJet Pro Energy Efficiency Inflatable Spa with Control App for 5 to 7 People - 216 cm x 216 cm x 80 cm - Grey

Seats: 5 to 7; Water capacity: 1,190 L; Outer size: 216 x 216 x 80 cm; Jets: HydroJet and air bubbles; Wall build: EnergySense insulated

A seven seat insulated tub with HydroJet and bubble massage, five headrests and app control. The roomiest well equipped pick for big families.

In its favour:
- Seats up to seven, with five headrests included according to the listing.
- EnergySense insulated walls and cover help hold heat in a large volume.
- SmartSpa app and Freeze Shield are listed.

Good to know:
- 1,190 litres and 76.5 kg empty means a strong, level base is essential.
- The heater rating is not given, so heat-up time is unknown.

### 5. LAY-Z-SPA Honolulu AirJet Round Pool, 196 x 71 cm

Seats: 6; Water capacity: 916 L; Outer size: 196 x 71 cm; Jets: AirJet (30 listed); Wall build: Inflatable

A round six seat Lay-Z-Spa with an AirJet system and 916 litres. A straightforward family tub from a brand with easy to find spares.

In its favour:
- Six seats and 916 litres are listed, a typical family size.
- Lay-Z-Spa filters and parts are widely sold in the UK.
- At 38 kg it is manageable to set up and pack away.

Good to know:
- The listing is thin: no bullets on liner type, cover or heater.
- Only 30 jets are listed, far fewer than most rivals.
