Lights make a hot tub far more usable on autumn and winter evenings, when it is dark by teatime. Some tubs have lights built into the wall or floor and switched from the control panel. Others use small units powered by water flow, which need no wiring but only glow while water moves through them. Add-on light kits exist too, but a tub with lights already fitted saves fiddling with batteries and chargers. This guide compares tubs whose listings mention built-in LED lighting. We line them up on the type of lights and how they are powered or controlled, seats, jet count and water capacity. Lights are a nice extra, so each pick still has to make sense as a hot tub first, with a proper heater and cover.
