Our take
Fabric that keeps the rain out
The roof and side panels are made from 260 g per square metre polyester with a PVC coating. That is heavier than the plain coated polyester used on many pop-ups, and the listing states it is fully waterproof rather than only water resistant. For a hot tub under British skies, that is the most important line on the page.
UV protection is also listed. The panels are described as thick, and four of them come in the box, so you can enclose the tub completely.
Is 2.5 m enough?
The floor area is 6.25 square metres. A round tub of 155 to 180 cm, such as the Wave Pacific four person or a 180 cm Lay-Z-Spa, leaves a reasonable walkway. A 196 or 206 cm tub fills most of the space and leaves only a narrow gap at each side, so measure your tub and the steps before choosing this size.
Height adjusts to three levels. The listing does not give the figures, so you cannot check headroom in advance.
Setup, weights and warranty terms
The steel frame is rust resistant and folds open in one piece. Four leg weight bags, rope, tent pegs and a wheeled bag are included, and the brand says it works on sand, grass, concrete and decking. At 21.8 kg it is not light, but the weight helps it stay put.
Read the warranty carefully. The frame has 18 months of cover and the canopy six months, but both are void if the gazebo is left up all year, overnight or unattended. That rules it out as a permanent hot tub shelter, even though the fabric itself is waterproof.
Compared with the 3 x 3 m All Seasons and the PORTAL
The All Seasons 3 x 3 m heavy duty model gives more floor space and a longer warranty, but no side walls are listed. The PORTAL 3 x 3 m pop-up has windows and doors but only a 1,000 mm rating and the maker says it is not fully waterproof. This 2.5 m model trades size for the most weatherproof walls in the group.
Verdict
Go for this All Seasons 2.5 x 2.5 m gazebo if your tub is on the small side and you want walls that the maker states are fully waterproof. Owners of a six seat round tub will be more comfortable under the Lay-Z-Spa Gazebo Dome. If you want the same brand with more room and only need a roof, the All Seasons 3 x 3 m is the better choice.
