The Hawaii HydroJet Pro is the square member of the Lay-Z-Spa range, and the one that adds water jets to the usual air bubbles. Amazon lists a 180 by 180 by 71 cm body, six seats, 795 litres and 148 jets across the HydroJet and AirJet systems, with a Tritech liner. The square shape tucks into a patio corner or against a fence more neatly than a round tub, and the water jets give a firmer massage than bubbles alone.

In its favour
- Has both a HydroJet system and an AirJet system according to the listing, so you get water jets and bubbles.
- The square 180 cm footprint sits neatly against a fence or in a patio corner.
- At 795 litres it holds less water than most six seaters, which means fewer litres to heat each time.
Good to know
- The listing does not state app control, so timers and heating are set on the pump.
- At 54.3 kg it is one of the heavier tubs here to carry and position.
Our take
Two massage systems
The listing names both a HydroJet system and an AirJet system. HydroJets push streams of warm water from the sidewall, which most people feel as a stronger, more directed massage on the back. The AirJet ring adds the familiar fizz from the floor. Having both lets you choose a gentle soak or something more focused.
Square shape and capacity
A square 180 cm tub has corners that give a little more legroom diagonally than a round tub of the same width. At 795 litres it holds less water than the round six seat Milan, which shortens heating time on a fresh fill and means fewer chemicals per top up. The seats will feel closer together with six adults, though.
Box contents and weight
The listing names one Tritech liner, one heater for 220 to 240 V, one filter, ChemConnect, one inflatable cover, the HydroJet system and the AirJet system. Amazon gives the weight as 54.3 kg, noticeably more than the 38 kg Milan, so plan on two people to place it.
The heater rating, app control and freeze protection are not stated on this listing.
Where it sits in the range
Against the Lay-Z-Spa Milan AirJet Plus, the Hawaii trades about 120 litres of water and a round shape for water jets and a corner friendly footprint. The Bestway Santorini HydroJet Pro also has HydroJets, plus insulated walls, Freeze Shield and app control, but it is much larger at 216 cm. In the premium group, the MSpa Denver offers hydro jets on semi-rigid walls.
Verdict
The Lay-Z-Spa Hawaii HydroJet Pro is the pick for buyers who want water jets and a square shape for a corner, from a brand with easy spares. If you mostly want bubbles and more water, the Lay-Z-Spa Milan AirJet Plus is the simpler round option, and for year round use with app control, the Bestway Santorini HydroJet Pro is worth the extra space.
