Wave Pacific 6 person: integrated heater

Wave's Pacific 6 person is the family size version of the Pacific range, and its distinguishing feature is the integrated heater. Rather than a pump and heater box parked beside the tub, the heating sits inside the structure, which leaves a cleaner outline on the patio. Antifreeze protection is named in the title, and the listing promises a 15 minute setup. It is aimed at families who care about how the tub looks in the garden as much as how it performs.

Our take
Built-in heating and antifreeze
The listing describes the heater as built in with a minimalist surface and states a fast heating system to 40 °C. Antifreeze protection is listed in the title, though the bullets do not explain how it works or the lowest air temperature it covers. No wattage is given, which makes heating time hard to estimate.
Energy efficient insulation is mentioned as helping retain heat, but its type is not described for this six seat model.
Bubble massage and filtration
The Aquajet system uses bubble jets for a gentle all over massage. The jet count is not listed. Integrated filtration is described as keeping water clean with reduced chemical use, but the filter type is not named, so check the spare cartridge situation before you buy.
Gaps in the specifications
This is the least detailed of Wave's listings on the site. There is no water capacity, no outer size and no weight. The walls are described as UV resistant PVC with reinforced stitching. Without dimensions you will need to check Wave's own product page or the box before deciding where it will go, which is the main practical drawback.
Pacific 6, Pacific 4 or Como
The Wave Pacific 4 person is the same idea in a 155 cm footprint, and its listing adds a PU foam core in the wall. The Wave Como Eco Foam is the premium step up, with foam walls, Freeze Shield and WiFi control in a 195 cm octagon. Outside Wave, the Lay-Z-Spa Milan AirJet Plus gives a stated 916 litres and a known spares network but uses a separate pump unit.
Verdict
Choose the Wave Pacific 6 person if you want a neat six seater with the heater built in and antifreeze protection, and you are willing to confirm its size before ordering. If you want app control and solid foam walls, the Wave Como Eco Foam is worth the step up, and the Lay-Z-Spa Milan AirJet Plus suits buyers who want published figures.
