Bestway Santorini HydroJet Pro: 7 seats, 1,190 L

Insulation and frost protection

Bestway says the EnergySense walls and cover make the tub up to 40 percent more energy efficient than equivalent spas. That claim compares against Bestway's own uninsulated tubs rather than an independent standard. Freeze Shield is an automatic heating feature that switches on to protect the pump and liner from frost, which is the main risk when a tub stays filled through a British winter.

Internal MaxHold fabric reinforcements are listed to help the wall keep its air pressure and stay stable.

Massage and app control

HydroJet nozzles around the sidewall push streams of water at the back, while hot air bubbles rise from the floor toward the feet and back. The spec sheet lists 10 jets, which likely counts the HydroJet nozzles only. The SmartSpa app controls temperature, timer, filtration pump and massage from a phone.

What comes in the box

Amazon lists the spa, a tarpaulin, the pump, a ChemConnect diffuser, five headrests, a type VI filter cartridge, two water controlled LED lights and a repair patch. The headrests and lights are extras that most inflatables here do not include.

Size and weight

The tub measures 216 by 216 by 80 cm, 20 cm wider and 9 cm deeper than the Milan AirJet Plus. At 76.5 kg it is the heaviest tub on the site, so plan where it will sit before you unbox it and expect to need two or three people to move it. The heater wattage is not given.

Filling 1,190 litres takes noticeably longer than a 669 litre tub, and the first heat from cold will be slow, so set it up a day before you plan to use it. Once warm, the insulated cover and Freeze Shield are designed to keep it ready between soaks, and the app makes it easy to drop the temperature midweek and raise it again before the weekend.
